All settings and results of a plastic deformation analysis, using the Explicit Dynamics module, on ANSYS, are presented here. Starting with a geometric model of the system analyzed, are presented here the mesh structure, the initial conditions, forces and restrictions (such as fixed support and displacement). and finally the results and solution. This report may be a good example for analysis settings and flow diagram of the process. The main purpose of the paper is that to offer an analysis of plastic deformation, up to failure, using a common module of ANSYS software.
