In order to be effective and efficient in the life of any organization, knowledge is a valuable resource that must be carefully managed. The Knowledge Management process can prove to be a daunting challenge because of the illusive and personal nature of the Knowledge Resource. It is for this reason that an integrated and uniform tool is required in the field. The paper proposes the implementation of the Knowledge Management Platform in order to optimize of a Laser Cutting System for 6mm Mild Steel.
