Our paper presents a study regarding the improvement of the vehicle deceleration light signalling system. Based on global statistics on the number of road accidents caused by non-compliance with the safety distance and a market research on the availability of purchasing an extra option to allow drivers to be informed about the speed reduction of the vehicle in front, we have applied the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM).
