The paper presents how a decision-making system based on fuzzy sets was developed to determine the technological parameters of the laser cutting process. Input parameters were defined: material thickness and roughness. Output parameters have been defined: cutting power and speed. Next, the specific steps of elaborating a decision system based on fuzzy sets were completed. A user interface has also been created. Validation of the decision system based on fuzzy sets was achieved through experimental research.
